Reborn

A one-of-a-kind Woolly Mammoth made of stainless steel, built for the outdoors and standing 12 foot tall. He features hand blown glass eyeballs, heat treated metal to color him in silvers, golds, purples and blues and is filled with LED lights that shine through his wavy hairs. Reborn, was a 2025 Burning Man Honorarium Art Grant project and spent a week in the Black Rock Desert for event goers to enjoy. This project was inspired by the 2025 Burning Man theme, "Tomorrow Today" which was translated to "future tech" and/or "back to the future". Maybe we will see a real woolly mammoth roaming our Earth once again someday?
